My Approach
I use a person-centred integrative approach, which means that I draw upon several ways of working, depending on your individual needs. This approach enables me to work with various common mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, loss, relationships, self-esteem, stress and other life difficulties. I tailor my ways of working, creating an environment where all my clients can be seen and heard.
I explore self-perception which facilitates personal growth by allowing you to recognise and utilise your strengths. I also explore past experiences and early formative relationships in order to understand the present, as well as more immediate thoughts, feelings and behaviours to help understand how we relate to others. I aim to provide an environment where you feel safe and supported in your process of positive change.

Process
I offer an initial introductory session for new clients which is a standard 50-minute session.
This session is designed for us to meet, discuss the therapeutic process and for you to share your initial concerns. You can then see if you feel we can work together in a way that you would find supportive.
